He was born in Paphos in1966. After he completed his high school education in Cyprus, he graduated from M.E.T.U Civil Engineering Department in 1990. He completed his master of science on Materials of Construction in M.E.T.U Civil Engineering in 1993. From 1992 to 1994 he worked in Ankara in the companies (Bilsan İnş. Ve Tic. A.Ş, Bingen İnş. Devlet Mahallesi construction), he completed his military service in 1996. Since 1996 he is working as a full time lecturer in Near East University Civil Engineering department. He is married and has two sons.
